Kim Kardashian West Not Joining Trump Bashers: 'I Have Nothing Bad to Say About the President
Kim Kardashian West declined to join with President Trump's many celebrity critics in an appearance with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
In the interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Kardashian discussed her visit to the Oval Office, where she successfully convinced Trump to commute the prison sentence of Alice Johnson, a nonviolent drug offender.
"I'm hopeful that more good things are going to come out of our conversations," she said, telling Kimmel she has a list compiled of other incarcerated individuals.
She said she receives a "stack of letters" every day and recently visited a women's detention center.
Kimmel jokingly asked her if first lady Melania Trump was on the list of "prisoners" who may be released.
The reality TV mega-star revealed she was naked when Trump called a few months ago to notify her of Johnson's clemency and she had to quickly put on a robe. Kardashian said she immediately broke the news to Johnson and both cried over the phone.
"That's really great," said Kimmel, asking if Kardashian's husband, Kanye West, still supports Trump.
She said West may not agree with many of Trump's policies, but he respects the way Trump became president when nobody believed he could do it.
Kardashian said she doesn't agree with all of the president's policies either, but has "nothing bad to say about the president."
