Red Sox owner cancels Ortiz bobblehead night. Claims it was racist. #getalife

The Red Sox on Tuesday canceled a David Ortiz bobblehead giveaway only five hours before their game against the Yankees because the figurines were deemed inaccurate and racially offensive.

The bobblehead depicted Ortiz holding a microphone, a tribute to his famed, “This is our [expletive] city” speech he gave to the crowd at Fenway Park following the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013.
